For the past 10 years, my family and I have built our life here in rural Chaves County, putting down roots in the agriculture community. Agriculture teaches you that seasons change, markets shift, and challenges are inevitable but with planning, discipline, and steady leadership, you adapt and move forward.
I’m running for County Commissioner because this is an important time for our county. Agriculture remains the backbone of our economy, and we are fortunate to have irrigation water that sustains our farms and communities. Protecting that foundation while planning responsibly for the future will help ensure the next generation has the opportunity to build their lives here.
At the same time, agriculture, energy, and small businesses across our county are navigating real pressures, and local decisions matter. I want to help guide those decisions in a way that respects property rights, understands the realities of both our rural and urban communities, and keeps Chaves County strong, safe, and competitive for years to come.
I believe Chaves County should be a safe, stable place where families can put down roots and raise their children with confidence. That means supporting public safety, maintaining strong infrastructure, and managing county resources responsibly.
Our kids shouldn’t have to leave home to find opportunity. With thoughtful planning and practical leadership, we can help create a future where the next generation has the choice to build their lives right here.
If elected, I will stay accessible, listen carefully, and focus on the core services that matter most to the residents of Chaves County. I would be honored to earn your support.
